Got some ideas improving Mockabilly? Having some troubles working with Mockabilly? Found a bug? Feel free to contact us. Thanxx.
1. How can I share my created mockup?
All your mockups are available via the internal mockabilly ftp function. When you create a mockup, a new directory including all used screenimages and mockup-flows is being created. This directory can be accessed through WIFI and FTP.
As soon as your device is connected to a WiFi network, you are able to start Mockabillys internal FTP server by tapping the ‘Start FTP’ icon. Using a FTP client on your computer, you connect to the mockabilly FTP server und upload and download your mockup data.
Note: Only available in the full version!
2. Where can I get a FTP client?
You can use every FTP client you like. We recommend the following free applications:
OSX / Mac: cyberduck - http://cyberduck.ch
Windows: Filezilla - http://filezilla-project.org
3. How can I upload my layouts into Mockabilly
You have different choices:
- Upload a directory from your Mac/PC containing your layouts to your iPhone, will instantly create a new mockup within mockabilly for you.
- You also can add new layouts to an existing mockup either by adding images in your local MAC/PC directory – and syncing it to your iPhone, or adding layouts to mockabilly via FTP.
- You could also use iTunes synchronized images within Mockabilly.
4. What is the difference between the lite and full version of Mockabilly?
The Mockabilly Lite is a trial version for instant MockUp creation, thus limited use for
- Number of mockups: 2
- Screens per mockup: 10
- FTP Sharing: no
With the lite version you are able to instantly upload layouts via iTunes and create a mockup as described.
The full version of Mockabilly provides advanced syncing features, thus makes it a comprehensive workflow tool for creating and syncing mockups between your Mac/PC and your iPhone.
5. I deleted the 'My Sushi App' Mockup. How can I get a new one?
Just download the Package here, unzip it, and transfer the whole directory into Mockabilly.
Please note, that this import will not work with the Lite Version of Mockabilly.
